My client is an East Midlands based law enforcement agency who are undergoing a major digital policing transformation.
As a result, they are looking to recruit a Solutions Architect To work with the business, regional and national stakeholders to identify, plan, design and deliver new information technology, services, and infrastructure across the area.
RESPONSIBILITES

  • Assist the Senior Responsible Officer, users, criminal justice partners and other stakeholders in developing business cases for new ICT projects establishing requirements leading to solutions and designs that meet business and ICT strategic requirements.
  • To lead on the specification, procurement, testing, implementation, support and documentation of ICT projects, services, systems, and infrastructure to meet strategic business and ICT strategic goals.
  • To take ownership of the most complex system, service, and infrastructure issues and to manage them through to resolution.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience of conceptualising and identifying solutions, taking responsibility for all aspects of the design, implementation and technical management of enterprise grade systems and infrastructure
  • Experience of taking ownership of a project through the full implementation lifecycle and system, utilising appropriate methodologies
  • Ability to Maintain documentation of systems, processes and problems using the appropriate tools and techniques (e.g. UML, DFD, network diagram, etc.)

This is a hybrid role that will involve occasional travel to sites within the East Midlands.
In return, my client offers a salary of up to £60,813 and an excellent public sector pension.
