Seeking an HR Director UK&I for a 12 month fixed term contract for an exciting and growing organisation in the Real Estate sector.

The role will shape the People & Culture (P&C) strategy for the 600 employee population ensuring it is aligned to business strategy and lead a small team of 3. The role requires someone who is able to pivot between both tactical and strategic responsibilities.

Core responsibilites:

  • Partner with senior leaders to craft and implement P&C strategies that support both expansion and local operational stability.
  • Drive business decisions based on analytical insights, focusing on the people implications of change and employee engagement.
  • Lead, manage, and develop a dedicated P&C team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Lead on a wide range of support from managing complex employee relations to contributing to business planning and budgeting.
  • Advocate for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and ensure the company's values are embedded in every aspect of the business.
  • Advise senior leaders on all aspects of people management, including talent management, organisational design, and performance.
  • Manage complex employee relations, including TUPE and collective bargaining.
  • Provide strategic direction on UK&I-specific items related to benefits, payroll, and compliance.
  • Contribute to strategic business priorities and lead specific people related projects.

Experience required:

  • Qualifications: Degree level education or equivalent experience, MCIPD or equivalent qualification
  • Senior generalist HR experience in a fast-paced commercial environment ideally within real estate, facilities management or site based roles
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and practices with TUPE and collective bargaining
  • Excellent judgement, interpersonal skills, and a track record of influencing and driving change.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, budgeting, and business planning experience
  • Ability to work flexibly in a continuously changing environment, with experience in managing acquisitions.
  • Collaborate to achieve goals and solve problems
  • Prioritise service to customers, community, and team members.
