Equity Derivatives Support Engineer

Role:

We seek a talented Equity Derivatives Support Engineer with a strong foundation in DevOps and volatility fitting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional support to an equity derivatives trading platform and ensuring the smooth operation of systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to traders, quants, and other stakeholders, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to our equity derivatives trading platform.
  • DevOps: Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to implement and maintain robust DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and monitoring tools.
  • Volatility Fitting: Leverage your expertise in volatility fitting to calibrate models and ensure accurate pricing of equity derivatives.
  • System Optimization: Identify and implement performance improvements to enhance the efficiency and scalability of our trading platform.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain clear and concise documentation for system configuration, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the equity derivatives and DevOps space.

Qualifications:

  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
  • Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including Git, Jenkins, Ansible, and Docker.
  • Knowledge of equity derivatives products and pricing models.
  • Familiarity with volatility fitting techniques and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
